Mass Effect 3 : Official N7 Collector's Edition Trailer [HD]

Two trailers have been released for games I would love to play he second trailer is for Mass Effect 3 for the N7 collectors edition of the game I am so looking forward to this game it is released on March 9th in Europe and March 6th USA 2012 which is just so far away.  Anyway here's the trailer enjoy.......




So I think this game is so worth the money what do you guys think.....

Star Wars : The Old Republic

Two trailers have been released for games I would love to play the first is Star Wars the Old Republic which is an MMORPG which I would love to play but in this time of recession I cannot as with all MMORPG you have to pay a monthly or annual fee.  Anyway besides that the trailer is awesome and here it is......

The Lost Blogs

The following are what I call the lost posts dum dum da anyway due to a lack of a proper internet services and several page loads fails I lost a number of posts now instead of trying to recapture what i had written I will just give a brief overview of what they where.

WARNING THERE MAY BE SPOILERS BE WARNED....

I watched a movie called Dogtooth which was really messed up in the wrong kind of way.  It focused on a family who isolate there children from the world and have told them they can not leave until there Dogtooth falls out (Canine tooth). The whole system breaks apart when they discover sex.  It ends horribly this movie is a must see but you shall not want to talk to me after.


I have started reading comics again and part of the plan was to review each one I read this again did happen but not the way I wanted.

Stormwatch No.1, I was very nervous about this title as I was a fan of Stormwatch before the relaunch the DC universe issue one was not great I was not happy with the designs of the characters especially the Engineer   plus Martian Manhunter as a member just feels wrong they are also reintroducing two great characters Apollo and Midnighter which I think they are going to get wrong.

Stormwatch No.2, Well apart from many design faults still looks kinda ok. I should point out the story is ok a gaint eye ball in the moon what's not to like (I know I'm not doing it justice but this is a rewrite). What i do find frustrating is that we are meant to believe there is some kind of history here but it does not feel like that for me they still get Apollo and Midnighter wrong in my books they look crap lets hope we get a reboot in design soon bring back the old, (moving on) getting better.


Superman Action Comic No.2, This is great I loved the story of him escaping finding his ship and the introduction of Brianiac at the end was cool but again the art lets this could be great book down plus it felt to short as well like there should have been more to the story.

Green Lantern No1, Interesting Sinestro as a Green Lantern again and Hal Jordan not whats going on where does this fit in with the timeline it's all a bit much but it is good.





Justice League Dark No1, This title was the first one i thought was interesting as it deals with magic but what worries me is that characters that belong in less mainstream books like Constantine from Hellblazer amy not work here but in the issue the team is being pulled together for a mission only they can solve as fro the art nice but needs to be better.

Supergirl No1, I don't know what made me buy it but it was good the art was solid the story has left us with some questions why does she have powers if she has only arrived and so forth good book may read more.








Justice League No1, A good read but Green Lantern is a pain in the hole he's to cocky plus why would he not believe in batman he has a power ring the art is great but that's to be expected from the flag ship title, the story lets introduce Darkseid as the villain to bring the team together not original.








Superman No1, Fun issue i liked the way it started like the Superman movie the story was ok Superman Vs Fire Being which points to a link to Krypton. The art was good even if Superman was too dark.








Deus Ex Is a video game which I loved and when the third came out a prequel I jumped on it the game itself looks fantastic but suffers from a lack of direction as in some places different graphics. The story is superb you really need to play this game.







Gears of War 3,  Graphics great, Story OK, Killing enemies horribly is never ending fun this is a fun game to play. I really did have more to say about it but that does sum it up.

Batman Arkham City

Having played many computer games in my life I am accustomed to all the pitfalls that take place and it is rare that games will inspire me to play it again to date there has been only two game Mass Effect and Dragon Age now there is a third Batman: Arkham City.


SPOILERS AHEAD.......................I AM BATMAN.


To begin I have played Batman Arkham Asylum and found it great now that I have played Arkham City it's only good this is a pure example of doing it right.  The sequel is set in a part of Gotham that has been walled off all of Gotham's low-life are now housed there including The Joker, Two Face and The Penguin just to name a few as short on villains this game is not.  As Bruce Wayne you are arrested by Hugo Strange and locked up. You then have to get past the guards in order to get your bat suit which Alfred is sending you this is where the fun begins.



The game itself is nearly flawless I found no errors with the graphics the sound is good if you have old 3D glasses you can play in 3D but not needed.  I am playing this on the Xbox so I can not speak for the  playstation version but you can not download say a trailer and play the game at the same time as when the download is done the game stops and sends you back to the main menu very annoying as you lose your saved game.  Another thing i disliked is the design of some of the characters Penguin being the one i disliked the most see below. 

Yes that is a bottle in my face why do you ask ?

The most annoying thing about this game besides the above is Catwoman not the actual missions there great but the fact that she is an code you get if you buy the game new as apposed to used this is a trend that is used in nearly all games to combat used sales and I dislike it.

Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2

A many year's ago a company called Bioware released a great game called Knights of the Old Republic a Star Wars game that was better then the movies( I am not a Star Wars Fan) I was hooked.  Then along came years later Mass Effect and that was the end of my social life Mass Effect is a great game but thats not why i am here today for today is the day i tell you about Dragon Age another game by Bioware thats not all about space, aliens and lasers no this is swords, magic and Dragons.









If you have not played Dragon Age 1 or 2 whats wrong with you, SPOILERS ahead you have been warned.





In Dragon Age: Origins you take on the role of a Grey Warden these men and women dwarfs and elves are the only ones able to stop the blight as only they can kill the arch demon as your told.  The game starts in different places depending on what you have chosen to play as also what you choose to play as determines how you are treated by the NPC's ( None Playable Characters) in the game which is great.  You become a grey warden and you start off by recruiting your team, what I really like is that you have to put a lot of time into talking to your team and be careful how you talk to them as they do react to certain dialogue options in a positive way or negative way also you can give them gifts and giving the right gift to the right person is paramount to getting them to respect or even love you that's right love you, you can enter a relationship with most of the characters but once you have chosen whom you want that's it you also may have to turn down advances from other team members.  The side missions are what makes this game great there is so much to do and so much stuff to collect you really have to micro manage which I love doing kitting out my team in all the best gear it's fun. Combat is not great i tended to set up my team but found that just hitting the A button ( I played these on Xbox) a lot to deal damage it worked for me, word of warning the mage is very weak and dies a lot.  Other then that once your in your hooked.

In Dragon Age 2 they created a new character called Hawke you play as him or her and thats it you can't be a dwarf or an elve you just human which is a bit disappointing you can pick to play as warrior rogue and mage as in Dragon Age 1 but your not a grey warden.  The game itself is flawed it's meant to take place over 10 years yet character does not age also compared to Dragon Age 1 the world map is tiny.  How to build relationships is nearly the same but made simpler as you pick up a gift your told who it is for so you can't get it wrong also the micro managing is also made smaller as you only have yourself to kit out you find extra pieces of armor for your team but it does not change how they look which for me sucked. The combat is the same as Dragon Age 1 so no change there.  My biggest problem is the redesign of some of the races it does not fit with Dragon Age 1.  It is a good game it tells a great story it just needs to be bigger and stop holding are hands so much.

In closing there is a third game being made i will play it i want it to be huge and contain the two characters i created ( the Grey Warden and Hawke)  for Dragon Age 1 (4 out of 5 small problems) Dragon Age 2 (3 out 5 Major problems to small).
